Creating User Style Types
To create user styles for code highlighting formatting, follow these steps.
Go to the <Style | Theme> menu.
Click the <User Style Type> link.
Click the <Create User Style Type> link.
Enter the key and name. Select Character as the type.
Click the button.
Keys
The following keys are supported when you create user style types.
Key | Description |
|---|---|
h_comment | Comment |
h_keyword | Keyword |
h_string | String |
h_number | Number |
h_attribute_name | Attribute name (XML) |
h_attribute_value | Attribute value (XML) |
h_css_name | CSS property name |
h_css_value | CSS property value |
h_selector | CSS selector |
h_tag_selector | CSS tag selector |
h_dynamic_script | JSP script delimiters (<%, %>) |

All keys must start with h_. r_ is automatically added before the key and _span after it(for example, r_h_keyword_span). Keys that start with h_ do not appear in the editor's character type list.
Keys for which you do not create a user style type are highlighted in the default colors. Create only the keys whose formatting you want to change.
