Comparing Revisions

ManualWorks records the entire edit history. You can view revisions by “paragraph” or by “chapter,” and restore content to a revision from a specific point in time.

Use the <1View Revision> menu on the document details screen to compare revisions of a chapter or of the entire document. You can also compare tags.

Comparing the Entire Document

Use the <1Document> comparison to view and compare the revisions of the entire document. It shows “Edited Chapter” and “Added Chapter” lists so that you can compare how the book changed over time.

Documents that are not books, such as short documents, are not compared.

“Comparing the Entire Document” compares different points in time of one document. To compare the content of two different documents regardless of revisions, see Comparing Text.
