Overriding Messages

You can change labels and messages in the <Admin | Servers | Override I18n> menu.

  1. Go to the <Admin | Servers | Override I18n> menu.

  2. Click the <1Add> link.

  3. Enter the key and value of the message to override, and select the language. To find a key, see Finding a Key.

You can click an overridden key or value in the list to edit it directly. Click the <Delete> link to remove the override and restore the original message.

Message keys can change when a new version of ManualWorks is released.

Finding a Key

Find the key of the label or message you want to change as follows.

  1. Click your username, and select 1My Profile.

  1. Click the <Update My Profile> link, and change the language to “Key”. The screen then shows the keys of labels and messages, as below. “Key” is visible only to administrators.
