3Rabbitz Book records all the editing work history. Users can understand the history of their editing works anytime and revert a document to a specific time point in the past.

Element Revision

3Rabbitz Book provides the history function for individual elements. Users can understand the history of their editing works anytime and revert a document to a specific time point in the past.

Viewing History and Reverting

You can check the history of an element in the following order.

  1. Select an element to check the history for.

  2. Click on the <Revision> link below an element that is selected.

  3. Click on the <View> link of the content that you want to check the history for.

    • Since they are grouped in time, you have to click the <Detail View> link first.

  4. The “history including changes made in the past” will be displayed in the overlay.

    • In the overlay, click on the <Revert> button to revert your element to a specific time point in the past.

Comparing Elements

You can compare the two sets of history at a specific time point in the following order.

  1. Select an element to check the history for.

  2. Click on the <Revision> link below an element that is selected.

  3. Select history to compare. (By default, “Present” is selected.)

  4. Click on the <Compare> link.

  5. The history of comparison will be displayed in the overlay.

Beside present and past history comparisons, you can compare past histories at different times in the past.

Chapter Revision

Beside elements, 3Rabbitz Book provides the history function for an entire chapter. Users can understand the history of their chapter editing works anytime and revert a document to a specific time point in the past.

Viewing History and Reverting

You can check the chapter history in the following order.

  1. Click on the <History> menu on top of Editor.

  2. Click on the <View> link of the content that you want to check the history for.

    • Since they are grouped in time, you have to click the <Detail View> link first.

  3. The history will be opened in a new window.

Chapter Revision Panel

Refer to the following details in the history panel.

In the history details, you can click the <Revert to Present> menu to revert the content of a chapter to a specific time point.

Comparing Histories

You can compare two sets of history in the following order.

  1. Click on the <History> menu on top of Editor.

  2. Select history to compare. (By default, Present is selected.)

  3. Click on the <Compare> link.

  4. The history comparison screen will be launched in a new window.

Beside present and past history comparisons, you can compare past histories at different times in the past.

Comparing Chapter Histories

The left to the center column lies the latest content and the right to the center column is the past content. The center column shows the reasons for making changes in each element.

Content Change

It is displayed when the element content is changed.

Type Change

It is displayed when the element type is changed.

Option Change

It is displayed when the element option is changed.

Insert

It is displayed when an element is added.

Delete

It is displayed when an element is deleted.

Order Change

It is displayed when the element location is changed.

Deleted Elements

You can check and restore elements deleted during the chapter editing works.

Restoring Deleted Elements

You can restore deleted elements in the following order.

  1. Click on the <Deleted Elements> menu on top of editor.

  2. Click on the <View> link next to an element to be restored.

    1. Since they are grouped in time, you have to click the <Detail View> link first.

  3. After clicking the move mark() and drag an element to the desired location to restore it.
