Newly Added or Changed Features

Basic UI

Web Viewer

Web viewer’s UI has been improved and some functions have been added.

1Shows the list of figures and tables.

2Shows the index. But it only appears when there exists an index chapter.

3The <Hide TOC> link has been changed to icons.

4The <Download PDF> and the <Download EPUB> links have been changed to icons.

5The <To the First Page> link has been changed to icons.

6The <Previous Chapter> and the <Next Chapter> links have been changed to icons.

7The <To Bottom> link has been changed to icons.

8The <To Top> link has been changed to icons.

9If you check the checkbox in front of the <Table of Contents>, the entire table of contents will appear on the first page.

10Shows the author and the time of last change.

11If you click on the <Edit> link, the detailed book screen will open up.

12Shows the subtitles, the edition and the keywords.

13Shows the table of contents of the chapter.

14Shows the chapter’s subtitles, author and the time of last change.

15If you click on the <Edit> link, the editor will open up.

The book and chapter <Edit> link will be only visible to users with privileges.

16Shows the breadcrumbs. If you click on each title, you will be moved to each location.

17If you click on the footnote number, the contents of footnote will be displayed in tooltip.

18If you click on the external link, now it is opened in a new window(tab).

19If you click on the figure on the right to the internal link, it is opened in a new window(tab).

20The table of contents displays the heading numbering as well as the chapter numbering.

21If you double click on an item in the table of contents, the table of contents below it will be opened.

Other web viewer changes made include the following.

Editor

Edit Viewing Option and Character Type Style Setting

1If you click on this icon, the Element View Option will appear.

2Hides the character mark displays.

3Collapses all the sections(heading).

4Displays the user defined character type.

5The character type mark display has been changed.

Table Element Editor Improved

1In the context menu, you can click on the <1Toggle as Header Cell> menu to change a general cell into 2a header cell.

2The selected row or column structure is applied when you add a row or column.

3Supports the tooltips for the 3row/4column addition icon.

Element Type Selection Shortcuts Added

Added shortcuts to select an ordered list, an unordered list and a note.

Attachment File Link Added

After attaching a file, you can insert a file link to your document.

1If you select a file as a link type, then you can add an attachment file link.

2You can attach a new file.

Attachment files are managed for each user. You can insert a file link into multiple locations.

Document Composition

Cross Reference Also Displays a Numbering

When you display a cross reference link, the chapter or heading numbering is also displayed. It is all applied to web viewer, PDF and EPUB.

Improved the Function to Include Other Elements

The following changes are made related to Include Other Elements.

Parameter Replacement

You can only perform parameter replacement of elements included in other chapter.

If you want parameter replacement, you need to use the following syntax.

${title}1 is referred to.

In your web viewer, PDF or EPUB, 1 is changed to a book title.

Uploading a Figure to be Printed

You can configure a figure element for 300 DPI printing.

1Upload a figure for 300 DPI printing.

2A figure to be printed will be displayed in a new window.

3Delete a figure to be printed.

Not Reducing the Figure Size Regardless of Page Transition

If you select 1 for your element option, then regardless of page transition, the figure size is not reduced..

PDF Theme Line Change Option

In your PDF theme, you can configure to prevent word break.

Using the 1Line Break option, you can specify how a word will be cut off with line changes.

Enable Word Break

You can change a line in the middle of a word.

Disable Word Break

You can’t change a line in the middle of a word.

Hyphenation

As in ‘Enable Word Break’, you can change a line in the middle of a word, and add a hyphen where line change is made.

Book Watch Function

We have added the book watch function that notifies a user of changes made.

Activating and Deactivating Watch

By clicking on the 1watch icon on the right to the book title, you can deactivate or activate book watch.

Checking the Book You Watch in the Dashboard

1In the dashboard, you can check the changed book number.

2If you click on the book title, you will be moved to the detailed book screen.

3If you click on the chapter title, you can see the details of changes.

4You can click on the watch icon to cancel watch.

Identifying Changed Chapters

A change icon will appear next to the chapter changed in the table of contents of the detailed book screen.

The reference time to determine changes in the detailed book screen is initialized to the current time. After that, only the chapter changed after that time will be displayed.
