Search Keywords

Use the <Resource | Search Keyword> menu to manage keywords that users often search for in the web viewer. You can set up keywords to be suggested when users search with an incorrect keyword.

Users with the “Create Style” permission can use search keywords.

Creating Keywords

Create a keyword as follows.

  1. Go to the <Resource | Search Keyword> menu.

  2. Click the <Create Keyword> link.

    • In the 1name field, enter the search keyword. In the 2alternative keywords field, enter keywords that are similar to it or that users are likely to type by mistake.

    • Enter multiple alternative keywords on separate lines. An alternative keyword that is the same as the name is not saved.

  1. Click the button.

    • To keep creating search keywords, click the button.

When a user in the web viewer searches with a value entered in “3Alternative Keywords” (in the example, a variant Korean spelling of “backslash”), the 4keyword (the standard Korean spelling) is suggested as the search keyword.

Keywords take effect in the web viewer only after you create a keyword group and set which keywords apply to which documents.
