Setting Column Widths
The ManualWorks editor is not a WYSIWYG(What You See Is What You Get) editor.
Select “Table Layout” in <Optionscheck_box> of the table paragraph editor to set the column widths of the table. For the table layout, select “Auto”, “Fixed”, or “Setting”. The default for new table paragraphs is “Fixed”. You can change the default for the table paragraphs you create in “Setting” in the editor sidebar.
Auto
Column widths are determined by the content. The following is an example with “Auto” selected.
Type | Description |
|---|---|
Owner | Can perform all tasks on the document, such as deleting the document, creating chapters, and setting access permissions. |
Collaborator | Can edit the document content as a coauthor. |
Reader | Can read the document content in the web viewer. |
Fixed
All columns have the same width. The following is an example with “Fixed” selected.
Type | Description |
|---|---|
Owner | Can perform all tasks on the document, such as deleting the document, creating chapters, and setting access permissions. |
Collaborator | Can edit the document content as a coauthor. |
Reader | Can read the document content in the web viewer. |
Setting
You set the column widths yourself. Set the column widths in the “Setting” table layout mode as follows.
Separate the width of each column with commas. For example: 30%, 200, ?
You can use “%” as the unit.
If you set a column width to “?”, the width of that column is determined automatically.
The following is an example with “Setting” selected.
Type | Description |
|---|---|
Owner | Can perform all tasks on the document, such as deleting the document, creating chapters, and setting access permissions. |
Collaborator | Can edit the document content as a coauthor. |
Reader | Can read the document content in the web viewer. |
