Document Explorer

A tree-structured document explorer appears on the left side of the screen. You can use the document explorer in the editor as well as on the dashboard.

Document Explorer Structure

Note the following.

1Open and close the document explorer with the “Document Explorer” button.

2If you have the “Create Style” role, libraries, pages, and other items appear. For details, see 매뉴얼웍스 6.0 웹 페이지 (in Korean).

3The ManualWorks document explorer uses the project view, so if you created Projects, it shows the document list under each project.

4Click a document title to go to the document details screen.

5Click a chapter or section to open the editor. If you do not have edit permission, the web viewer opens.

6Click the more_horiz icon to show the context menu as in the figure above.
Move the mouse pointer over a title to show the hidden icon.

7The menu items, such as “Doc Details”, “Edit”, “Web Viewer”, and “Preview”, depend on the type of item. In the web viewer, the “Web Viewer (Open in Current Window)” menu also appears.
You cannot select the menu on a part title.

Chapters set to be hidden in the web viewer do not appear in the document explorer.

If you click a section inserted with “Include Other Elements”, the web viewer opens instead of the editor.
