Basic Features
By default, ManualWorks manages progress management items with only the following statuses.
Opened
Closed
Using the Approval Process with the API
You can add the following statuses.
Requested
Approved
Rejected
To do so, run the following command in the Console.
set-preference -name ENABLE_DOC_WORKFLOW -value true
Requesting Approval
The <1Request Approval> link appears when the status of a review request or change request item is “Opened” or “Rejected”.
The <Request Approval> link appears only when the type is “Change Request” or “Review Request”. It does not apply to “Proofreading” and “TODO”.
In the modal, select the 2approver, and then click the 3 button.
If the approver you previously selected in the same document is still an owner of the document, that approver is selected by default. You can change the approver to another user.
You can select the approver from the owners of the document.
When you request approval, the status changes to 4Requested, and the 5approver is shown.
You cannot close or delete an item whose status is Requested. This status changes only when the item is approved or rejected through the API.
Approving or Rejecting with the API
Approve or reject items that have approval requests by using the API. For approving or rejecting with the API, see 진척 관리 항목 상태 변경.
The ManualWorks UI does not provide a way to approve or reject items.
When you call the API to change the status to “Approved” or “Rejected”, the item appears as follows.
You cannot delete an item whose status is “Approved”. If the status is “Rejected”, you can <Request Approval> again, <Close> the item, or <Delete> it.
Viewing the History
Deleted items are permanently deleted, so you cannot view their history.
Click the <1Revision> link to view the history of the item.
Click 2 to copy the UUID of the item.
Because the status is changed to Approved or Rejected through the API, the API caller appears as the 3updater.
