ManualWorks uses two network ports. One is the service port for handling user requests, and the other is the shutdown port used to stop ManualWorks.

3RABBITZ_HOME refers to the directory (folder on Windows) where ManualWorks is installed.

Changing the Service Port Number

The default service port number is 1975. To change it, replace 1975 with another number in the 3RABBITZ_HOME/tomcat/conf/server.xml file.

Restart ManualWorks to apply the change.

The default shutdown port number is 5791. To change it, replace 5791 with another number in the 3RABBITZ_HOME/tomcat/conf/server.xml file.
