The default UI font for each user language is as follows.
Language | Code | Default font |
|---|---|---|
Korean | ko | "Noto Sans KR", "Malgun Gothic", system-ui, sans-serif |
English | en | ui-sans-serif, system-ui, sans-serif |
Japanese | ja | "Hiragino Sans", "Yu Gothic", Meiryo, "Noto Sans JP", "Noto Sans CJK JP", system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Segoe UI", Roboto, sans-serif |
Chinese | zh | "PingFang SC", "Microsoft YaHei", "Noto Sans SC", "Noto Sans CJK SC", system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Segoe UI", Roboto, sans-serif |
In the web viewer menu and table of contents, the font is chosen by the document language, not the user language. Comments, feedback, and similar areas use the user language.
You can change the default UI font for Korean (ko), Japanese (ja), and Chinese (zh) in the Console. A font set for English (en) is not applied. To check the font set for a language, run the following command in the Console.
get-web-font -lang ko
Set the language code with the lang option. This command shows only fonts set with set-web-font. If no font is set, it shows an empty value, and the default font in the table above is used.
To change the font, run the following command.
set-web-font -lang ko -value 굴림
Set the font with the value option. If you omit this option, the font you set is removed and the default font is used again. If the font name contains " (double quotes), wrap it in ' (single quotes) as follows.
set-web-font -lang ko -value '"Malgun Gothic", 굴림'
